imagic 1.4.7 is out. Here is what changed, in plain words. Full notes are
on the changelog.
- Face detection works on a fresh, offline install. imagic now ships
its face-detection model inside the app instead of downloading it on
first run. If that first run had no internet, or the download got
blocked, face detection silently found nobody in any photo. It works
immediately now, online or off.
- A Home tip points you to Export once your photos are analysed. If
you have culled or edited photos but not exported any yet, Home now
says so, with a direct link to the Export step. Editing does not save a
file by itself, only Export does, and it is easy to lose track of that
when culling and editing never run out.
- Trial users see how many exports are left. A calm, dismissable Home
banner appears once at 100 exports left and again at 25, instead of the
trial just running out mid-session with no warning.
The app offers the update when you open it, or grab the installer at
imagic.ink/desktop. If anything misbehaves
on 1.4.7, post in Bugs and help
with your version number.
