imagic works as a pipeline. You move left to right down the sidebar, and each step hands off to the next.
Point imagic at a folder. There's no catalogue to build and nothing to sync. Tick scan subdirectories if the shoot is split across cards. JPEG, PNG, TIFF and RAW all work — CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, ORF, RAF and RW2 included.
Every photo is scored on sharpness, exposure, detail, noise, composition, faces and whether the subject you focused on is actually sharp. This runs on your machine — your photos are never uploaded.
Open Detailed Culling View to see every photo with its score, a keep-or-trash call, and the reasoning behind it. Double-click any row for the full-size view — K keeps, T trashes. Find Duplicates groups near-identical burst frames and picks the sharpest. Nothing is deleted; trashed simply means left out of the edit.
Pick an edit style for the whole set, then layer a colour grade on top — every thumbnail previews your own photo rather than a swatch. From there the full slider stack is available, or AI Optimize All gives each photo its own exposure and white balance instead of one preset across the set.
Choose your format and quality, then export a single photo or the whole set at once. Finished files land in a folder, ready to deliver.
