This Privacy Policy explains what information imagic ("imagic", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, desktop application, and web editor, and how we use and protect it. By using imagic you agree to the practices described here.
If you sign in, we use Google Sign-In (OAuth) and receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and your license details, but we never see or store your full card number — that is handled directly by Stripe under their own security and privacy terms.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used in aggregate. For privacy, internal analytics identify visitors only by a one-way hash of their IP address — we do not store raw IP addresses in our dashboards.
If you email us or submit a request, we keep that correspondence (handled via our email provider, Resend) so we can respond and provide support.
Desktop app: All culling, editing, and RAW processing happen locally on your computer. Your photos are never uploaded to imagic. An internet connection is only used for one-time license activation and update checks.
Web editor: If you use the online editor at imagic.ink/editor, the image you upload is sent to our server only to process that single edit, stored temporarily for the duration of your session, and then deleted. We do not use uploaded images to train AI models.
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, to keep you signed in). Analytics cookies from Google Analytics help us measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We rely on a few trusted providers, each with their own privacy policies: Google (Sign-In and Analytics), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Ko-fi (optional donations). We share only the data necessary for each service to function.
We keep account and purchase records for as long as needed to support your license and meet legal and accounting obligations. Temporary web-editor uploads are deleted shortly after processing. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at snap@imagic.ink.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
imagic is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
