This is where the roadmap gets its ideas. Some of what is in imagic today started as someone describing their own workflow by email, for example the sports burst improvements and copying the original files on export.
How to ask so it gets built
- One idea per thread, so people can add to it and I can track it.
- Describe the job, not just the button. "I shoot 2,000 frames of youth football and need one frame per play" tells me far more than "add a burst slider".
- Say what you use today and what bugs you about it.
- Search first. If someone already asked, reply there with your own case. Several real use cases beat a vote count.
What happens next
I read every request. When one goes on the list I reply in the thread, and when it ships it is in the changelog and I come back to tell you. I will also say plainly when something is not a fit for imagic, rather than leave it hanging.
