Teach an AI agent your own editing style

Edit a handful of photos, then have imagic learn your look and apply it across the rest of the shoot. Your style, not a stock preset. Local and non-destructive.

What you type

Learn my style from the photos I have already edited, then apply it to the rest of this shoot.

The objection to every AI editing tool is the same, and it is fair: it makes your photos look like everyone else's. A preset is somebody else's taste applied to your work.

imagic learns from what you have already done. Point it at photos you edited yourself and it builds a style profile from your actual adjustments, then applies that profile to new frames. The output resembles your back catalogue because it was derived from your back catalogue.

What happens, step by step

1

Give it something to learn from

learn_style_from_library trains a profile from photos already edited in imagic. Starting fresh, match_style_from_examples works from a handful of frames you edit now.

2

Check what it learned

get_style_profile returns the profile, so you can see what it took from your edits before letting it near a shoot.

3

Apply it to the shoot

apply_my_style pushes the profile across the frames you name. Adjustments are stored rather than baked in.

4

Adjust and re-run

If a set needs a different mood, edit a few frames and calibrate again. The profile is yours and it updates.

Why it is worth doing this way

Presets are a stranger's taste. A style profile is a description of your own, extracted from work you already signed off on, which is the difference between a shoot that looks edited and a shoot that looks like yours.

The tools behind it

Questions

How many photos does it need?

match_style_from_examples works from a small handful you edit as examples. learn_style_from_library gets stronger the more of your edited work it can see.

Is the edit destructive?

No. Adjustments are stored against each photo and applied at export, so the original RAW is untouched and every value stays adjustable.

Can I keep more than one style?

Recalibrate when you want a different look. The profile reflects the edits you last taught it.
