imagic Max · built-in MCP server

Have an agent pick and export the client gallery

Re-rank an already-analysed shoot down to a portfolio selection and export it, with no second analysis pass. Driven from any MCP client.

What you type

From this shoot, pick the best 60 for the client gallery and export them.

The cull gets you from four thousand frames to a few hundred. The gallery is a different question: now you need the best sixty, and the answer changes depending on whether the client wants a story or a highlight reel.

Because scores are already stored from the analysis pass, narrowing is instant. Asking for a different number re-ranks what is already known rather than re-running any AI.

What happens, step by step

1

Narrow to a number

reselect_photos re-ranks the analysed set to the top N from stored scores, and returns immediately.

2

Sanity check the selection

list_photos shows what made the cut, with scores, so you can see why.

3

Export the set

export_photos renders the selection with its edits into a delivery folder.

Why it is worth doing this way

Selection is cheap once scoring is done, so you can ask for sixty, then eighty, then a different sixty, and see each answer straight away instead of waiting on a re-analysis.

The tools behind it

Nothing here is a black box. This workflow is these tools, in this order, and you can read exactly what each one does:

Questions

Does a different number re-analyse everything?

No. reselect_photos re-ranks from scores already stored, which is why it returns instantly.

Can I deliver the gallery from here?

Exported galleries can be published through share.imagic.ink on a Studio plan, or delivered however you already deliver.
