Trial & billing

My trial expired before I really got to try it

The trial key carries a 90-day date as a backstop, on top of the 500-export limit. If yours ran out, by date or by exports, while you were still deciding or had barely opened the app, email help@imagic.ink and say so. A trial that genuinely never got used is exactly the case we restart.

Steps

1. Email help@imagic.ink

Mention your trial key or the email you used, and roughly how far you got (never opened it, imported but never culled, and so on).

2. We check it's a real case

A trial that sat mostly unused is a quick yes. One already well into its 500 exports is a different conversation, since you did get a real chance to try it.

3. Keep using the same install

A restarted trial reuses your existing key; there is nothing to reinstall and nothing to re-register.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a self-serve button for this?

Not yet. It's a quick reply to help@imagic.ink rather than an automatic restart, so we can confirm it's a trial that genuinely went unused.

Will a restarted trial work the same as a new one?

Yes. Every current trial, new or restarted, is governed by the same 500-export limit with the 90-day date as a backstop.

What if I already bought a licence and want to use it on another computer?

That's a different question with its own answer: see Move your licence to a new computer.
